| What advice do you have for aspiring authors? |
| Write a lot and write often. Do that and you will be writing well before you know it. Literally. You will not realize that you are writing something good until you leave it alone and reread it a few months later. |
| What books or magazines would you recommend for improving your craft?? |
| Read books from a variety of genres and time periods to take in the full scope of the written word. As for magazines, there are hundreds of small literary magazines out there scoop them up when you can, support independent presses and learn what your contemporaries are doing at the same time. |
| What is the first thing you remember writing? |
| A science fiction epic (7 pages) in Fourth Grade. |
